Hello, I’m Ariane Kessel and I’m a Certified Integral Coach and Enneagram Teacher based in the Seattle Area.

Originally from French-speaking Belgium, I immigrated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2005 and relocated to Washington State with my husband Andrew and dog Avery in 2020.

I have a Master’s in Biochemistry and 20 years of experience in Molecular Biology and Neuroscience research. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by our incredible nervous system and the always-expanding human mind, and I’m excited to share with my clients new discoveries critical in understanding how we develop and build new competencies.

My never-ending interest in human beings and deep natural empathy led me to serve as as a volunteer peer counselor at the Berkeley Free Clinic for over ten years. I became certified as an Integral Coach with New Ventures West in 2015 and I have coached clients from all walks of life since then. Because the Enneagram has been the most transformative tool in my life, I got my certification as an Enneagram Teacher in the Narrative Tradition in 2020 and I currently teaches beginner and intermediate Enneagram courses to small groups online and in person. I also facilitate a self-awareness program based on the Enneagram in jails and prisons with Enneagram Prison Project.

Blending my background in neuroscience research, peer counseling, mindfulness, yoga, the Enneagram and the principles of Chinese medicine with the methodology of Integral Coaching and my own personal developmental experience, I bring deep empathy, intuition, and creativity in service of the professional and personal development of my clients.
